COMMUNITY

"For the past four years Suzi has used her creative skills to help me develop all of the marketing materials for the Marin Autism Lecture Series and "Connecting to Resources", the Autism Resource Fair & Exposition held at Dominican University.
She has developed everything from electronic save-the-date notices, to registration materials, flyers, resource directories, posters and conference signs. I would be lost without her ability to pull together all the important details and make them
visually inspiring."

We are committed to using our resources and expertise to make a difference in our community.
Autistry Studios
SLM Creative Design has partnered with Autistry Studios to provide training, internships and eventually a supported employment program for adults with Asperger's Syndrome, high functioning autism and other social and communications differences.
Autistry Studios has designed a unique and innovative employment model designed to provide vocational training, direct employment and, eventually, job placement for students from their core workshop programs. We are very honored to have been chosen as the first company to partner with them to build this program.
Autistry Studios' core program offers pre-vocational workshops, college support, job and life coaching, counseling services and social networking events for their students. They live by the belief that each individual, when given the opportunity to explore their talents and the support to overcome their challenges, will find a productive place in their community and become successful independent adults.

Dedication to Special Education
SLM Creative Design owner Suzi Lee Musgrove has served on the Executive Board of Dedication to Special Education since 2003.
Dedication to Special Education is an all-volunteer parent organization committed to improving special education in Marin County. Since 1997, we have raised over $2 million in direct support of classrooms and equipment. In 2001, in partnership with Marin Office of Education, we created the Technology Resource Center of Marin, where all children with disabilities can access the best technology has to offer. The TRC of Marin receives no government funding, and depends largely on money raised by Dedication to Special Education.
